Shaded / Ombre / Powder

This technique is my personal favorite! It goes by many monikers and is a classic option for a reason. The shaded brow technique mimics the look of eyebrow makeup like powder or brow pencil and can have a soft faded look at the fronts or a more defined look. The shape of the brows is made up of dot work and shading techniques that blur together during healing to create a shimmer powder effect.

This option is great for all skin types and for people looking to replace eyebrow makeup and who are not good candidates for hair strokes alone. We have lots of options with the shaded brow including a faded front, and different levels of transparency and deepness to curate to what’s best for you.

Average Touch up rates: 3-5 years depending on color choice.

Hairstroke / Microblading

Hair Stroke brows mimic the look of a fuller eyebrow that is nicely groomed by hair stroking with a machine or microblading tiny lines that look like hair. This is a great option for people wanting soft and natural-looking definition but not a makeup look. This technique will not replace the look of a brow with makeup on. It will just give the look of a fuller brow with more hair. The hair strokes are done in the direction of your hair pattern for the most natural look.

Average Touch up rates: 1-3 years depending on color choice

Not a good technique for oily skin, large pores, scarred/tough skin or mature skin.

Combos, Fluffy & More!

Best of both worlds! Combo brows uses both techniques of hair stroke and shaded brows. Hair Strokes are tattooed in the front and then tapered into dot work shading for a shimmer powder effect. This technique gives the best of both worlds and gives that beautiful fade while still having definition at the ends and looking like a brow with makeup.

Fluffy brows/Boy Brows, are common names for a style of brow that is more bold and natural but also tamed into a unique hair pattern. These brows accent the “fluffiness” of a natural brow that isn’t waxed, plucked or shaped.

Average Touch up rates: 3-5 years depending on color choice. Hair Strokes will blur into the shading within 1-3 years.

The hair stroke sections of the combo brow are not a good technique for oily skin, large pores, scarred/tough skin or mature skin.
